Are We Addicted to the Internet? / Flowtown (@flowtown)

The answer for me. Well its a love hate relationship. Most of it being, I hate that the internet consumes so much of my life while filling it and my capacity with an onslaught of faux-portant information overload. Although I do love the ability of the internet to level the barrier of the power of information that has long been held by major media corporations. 

Is this addiction a product of information overload, not knowing how to digest the data ( a data structure and usability problem) or is it a more psychological problem with our struggle to stay relevant, perpetuated by the inundation of information your supposed to consume. eg. four friends have liked this you should know about this…. hmm really?
